Loans & Payment Plans

Your year with the Institute will be as intellectually challenging as it is professionally stimulating. Resolving your financial concerns early will enable you to make the most of your time at AIPS. Over 90% of Institute students finance their education. Fifty four percent also qualify for merit scholarships based on their collegiate or work experience.

For more information about our payment plans or financing, call our Admissions Office at 1-800-553-2420. Or, if you prefer, you can e-mail us at info@americanparalegal.edu. Your first step is to submit the credit application, so an appropriate financing package can be prepared for you.

Sallie Mae Loan Program

For the convenience of its students, the American Institute works in cooperation with Sallie Mae Financial Corporation in order to meet the financial needs of its students seeking resources for distance learning education. Loans are credit based.

Approximately half of AIPS applicants qualify on their own. The other half are asked for a coborrower (usually a spouse, parent or relative). About 70% of those who are asked to provide a coborrower successfully apply and are awarded a SLM loan. After 24 months of on time payments, the coborrower is released from the obligation.

A credit application is required. Please complete the credit application, and fax your completed credit application to the American Institute at 419-715-6235.
